Easy Breezy Sweet... Kobbari Mithai/Coconut Burfi
Grated Fresh Coconut - 1cup +1/4 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Powdered Cardamom - 1/2 tsp
Ghee - 1tsp +1/2 tsp
Pista & Saffron Strands for garnishing
1. Grate coconut from half coconut. Mix coconut and sugar. Take it in a thick bottomed non-stick pan.
2. Fry them on medium heat. It takes about 5-6 minutes for the mixture to thicken and to start leaving the sides of the pan. Add a teasooon of ghee and transfer it to a greased palte and roll it with the help of rolling pin to flatten them. Grease the rolling pin with ghee too.
3. Cut them into squares when the mixture was warm and garnish with pistachios and saffron.
