Togaribele Dose / Toor Dal Dosa
Toor Dal/Togaribele - 1 cup
Rice - 2 cups
Red Chili - 4 ~6 (combination of Byadgi chili and Guntur Chili/ combo of spicy and on spicy chili)
Jeera- 1tsp +1/2 tsp
Tamarind - A big pinch
Grated Coconut - 3 Tbsp
Salt - As required
Measure, wash and soak Toor Dal and Rice along with Jeera, Chili and Tamarind for 5 hours.
Grind this along with grated coconut and salt to a smooth paste. Keep it aside for next 5 hrs for fermentation. Dosa batter is ready to make dosas.
Heat flat non-stick pan. Laddle the batter and spread it evenly with the back of the spoon.
Pour a tsp of oil over the spread batter. Cook till the it is golden brown.
This dosa is good to eat on its own with a blob of ghee or butter. If you like you can serve it with any chutney of your choice. Onion Chutney pairs well. Enjoy!!
