Lakshmi, you are in Mysore?!! Girl, I would have met you there. We took Iravata bus with AC (Ahh..wish they had AC in homes too!) to Mysore, hired a taxi and went to every sight we wanted to go. Around 5pm, we got on the bus again, came home. Mysore is still beautiful, not much traffic. My aunt lives there. Bangalore was terrible. concrete jungle and so much chaos. I loved meeting friends and family, so it was good and I am ill even after almost 2 weeks after I came back home! :D

Have fun there, see you when you come back or in the Fall.Hugs, Safe flight! :))

First I thought that it was just like paruppu karmad, I use Tuvar dal in some of my dry curries, but i have not used tamarind in it, where is it orginally come from ? its new to me...never heard of this palya..., and of course the ground paste i do not add in my dry curry.., must try this some time...
