Pudina Podi

Pudina Pudi :

Pudina (Mint Leaves) - 1 packed up
Red Chillies - 2
Tamarind- very little
Salt, Jaggery

Oil, Uriddal

Heat a thick bottomed pan and add spread mint leaves on the pan.
Switch off the stove and let the mint leave wilt on the pan.
Grind pudina with redchillies, tamarind, salt and jaggery to make coarse paste.
Heat oil in the same pan you used before. Add few mustard seeds and urid dal. Let urid dal brown. Add the coarse paste and fry till the moisture in the paste dries up and becomes powder.
