Stirfried Vegetables ~ Easy and LowCarb



 
 
A very simple recipe which makes a great meal in itself.

 
 
Veggies Used: Broccoli, Cauliflower, Asparagus, Bell Peppers(Capsicum), Mushroom, Carrot
 
Additional Ingredients: Soyasauce : 2Tbsp, Cornflour 1heaped Tbsp+Water, Minced garlic from 2 cloves of garlic, optional : chili flakes (pizza hut packs :P), Olive Oil- 1tsp
 
Step 1. Cut vegetables in desired shapes
 

 
Step 2: Boil Water with enough salt and add Carrots, cook for 3 mins. Add in Broccoli and Cauliflower. Keep it in hot water for next 5 mins. This step should not take more than 10 mins.
Drain water. Use water for making soups.
 
 


Step 3: Stir-Fry
Keep minced garlic and other veggies ready to pour into oil. Heat a deep non-stick pan. Add oilve oil. 30 Seconds later add garlic, sautee. Add in chopped mushrooms, bell pepper and stir fry for next 3-4 mins. Add in half-cooked vegetables from step 2. Mix everything well.

 
 
Step 4: Fianl Mixing
Add soya sauce, a big pinch salt. Mix well. Mix cornflour in 2 Tbsp of water. Pour this over the veggies. Mix well. Srinkle red chili flakes. Warm the mixture for 1-2 mins. Serve immediately.
