I am just waiting for the round up of this event to have more ideas for packing lunch box! Here are Akash's Lunch box dishes....Quantity in the photograph does not exactly indicate his eating capacity. Recipes are blogged either blogged before or they are just very simple modifications of regular items that you make everyday.

1. Macaroni and Fruits : (simple stir fry of cooked macaroni with vegetables. olive oil seasoned with cumin, finished by adding lemon juice and salt)

Lucky him, they all looks so delicious. I want to make Idli Shavige soon.
Here in schools, they don't "encourage" bringing home cooked lunch to school (smells of "curry") unless it's just sandwiches.Mine eat at school cafe usually.
Sent you a second one for MOW.

@ Asha,
His Kindergarten did not allow home cooked food for the same reason and I appreciate Akash that despite disliking the food, he managed 4 years there form Nursery to K2. He deserves something good everyday kind of re-paying :D. Since he goes to Indian International Shcool, the culture is very Indian.

@HC,
I hope Sri loves it :)

@Deesha,
ya, even we loved veggies in Avalakki. I added aloogadde too. Tasted Good.

@Cham,
Good for you. My son loves veggies and fruits. Most of the times he loves fresh veggies to cooked ones. Salads are always welcomed.

@Yosee,
LOL..

@Ujju and Smi,
Poori is really a yummy lunch box item.
